A modern classic of the Ferrari line-up, this beautiful 360 Modena was a recent acquisition for an excellent returning client of ours. After scouring the nation for the spec he’s been wanting for years, we were tasked to rejuvenate the paintwork and protect it with a combination of clear paint protection film and glass paint protection coating.
We started with a thorough pre-wash, wash and decontamination of the paintwork as a base to inspect the actual condition of a supercar. Once we established the originality and condition, we set out to correct the paintwork safely with a selection of different polishing tools and products. This was a painstakingly slow process as sensitive areas were masked off from damage and we tread with caution to ensure no compromise of the paint’s integrity by polishing too aggressively.
Once we were satisfied with finish many, many hours later, we prepared the patterns for paint protection film and installed the clear stone guard on the complete front of the vehicle.
The wheels were removed, intricately cleaned and coated as with the paintwork with a glass coating for that deep and wet finish that would last years. To ensure good bonding, we cured the coating with infra-red lamps that bakes it to the necessary temperature prescribed by manufacturer specifications.
No piece of work was compromised as instructed by the client as he wanted this to be a stellar example that he could proudly drive and display.
